Welcome to our Children's page!

Why do you think all the little children in the Bible wanted to be near Jesus? We believe it was because Jesus showed them genuine love, acceptance, and a real willingness to listen to them. His desire was to teach them and to build them up while showing them compassion. That is what we try to imitate at Rockwood, and that is why we offer different opportunities for our children.

Our Nursery

Our nursery workers are all very loving and take the time to play with and teach the little ones! Nursery is provided Sunday mornings and evenings, as well as Wednesday evening, for ages birth through pre-K. Our church offers a clean, and safe nursery.

Our Kindergarden to 6th grade

Jesus said "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them..". We take His commandment seriously! Listed below are the weekly children's opportunities.

Sunday morning:

9:30 am - Sunday School (all ages): Each class is taught by loving adults who want to help your child understand the Bible and grow closer to God.

10:45 am - Kingdom Kids (4 yr.-3rd grade): Kingdom Kids is a worship service designed especially for kids.

Wednesday evening:

6:30-7:30 pm - Our Wednesday Evening Program for Children (1st-6th grade) is currently under Re-Construction.
